the war drags on

It's disturbing that the Israeli government has lodged an attack against its neighbor Lebanon, though hardly surprising. Frankly, I've never believed that the concept of "an eye for an eye" was a sound method of seeking justice, but I suspect that justice is the last thing the Israeli government has in mind.
     What we have here is yet another chapter in an unwinnable scenario. Nobody wins if nothing is left when the shooting is all over.
     I know My rant here won't change things, but as the surviors of the Holocaust repeatedly say, silence equals death. Sometimes noise does too, but failure to speak out against wrongs begs the question as to whether or not one agrees with the injustice.
